Raising the stakes

First the good news, then the good news…

Number One, it looks likely that we’ll have a Midwest Story Night running soon. Details to come.

Number Two, I’d like to up the ante. In a few months I propose we vote on the best stories posted to date. Subscribers will vote, and the top three authors will get cash prizes. First place will get $5000. Second and third will get $3000 and $2000, respectively. With the new Midwest Story Night that should open the field to more writers.

Tonight is the Hindsight Story Night in Portland. It starts at 6:30, at 5829 SE Powell Blvd. Get your name in the hat, and we’ll hold forth until 9:30.
