She continued through every aisle of the store, collecting everything that had ever belonged to Evelyn and placing it in her cart. Then leaving her cart in the care of the cashier and grabbing a second cart when that became necessary.
“I remember that creepy piranha from Evelyn Martin’s house. That thing scared the shit out of me my entire childhood. Why is it here?”
Hilda had found her calling. Her mission.
