Spreading cheer, here, and holiday crud
Since our Christmas Story Night, several in attendance have come down with Covid. This includes the event’s chef, and me. Coincidentally, we’re both named “Chuck.” Perhaps a Chuck-specific strain?
Between coughs, I’ve enjoyed the hell out of revisiting Maegan’s story Split Lip. It will stay one of my favorites long after the dopamine of the holidays has passed.
Thank you, Maegan Heil.
Covid brain fails me now. Sharing just a final picture, taken at the Safeway this morning. Nothing sadder than close-out baked goods.
Hello John Raisor. You posted a recent link to a story you asked folks to read. Please post it again here, and I'll respond when I'm back on the horse.
Welp, I’m speechless. You just made my Christmas, Chuck, thank you. And I hope you feel better sooner than later!! Next year I’ll figure out how to send a batch of the homemade chocolate and peanut butter chip cookies and a Christmas gnome (our annual tradition on Christmas Eve is to gnome our favorite neighbors). Merry Christmas!! 🎄
