It’s been a pleasure to meet so many people who until now were just keystrokes on Substack. Talk about sonder stories! Exhausting and exhilarating at the same time.
Today we head off to Pittsburgh. There I’ll be on the (no shit) Jesse Watters segment of Fox News. Book tour makes for strange bedfellows, but I can’t fathom what we’re going to gab about. If you’ve cracked the new novel you’ll grasp how absurd it is for me and Jesse Watters to talk.
For now, I’ll take my strokes where I find them.
I felt like I could have talked your ear off for hours. If only there always time. Right about when I stopped being nervous a line built up to outside the building. If not for that I would have hung around longer. So nice meeting you Chuck! I hope some day we can do a story night closer to where I live. Worcester perhaps.
It was also lovely meeting you, who up until this point was just keystrokes in some books! Glad I finally got to show you my Invisible Monsters tattoo in Arizona. Wasn’t sure I’d ever get the chance!
