It kills me that for a decade the Left has dismissed Fight Club as the province of the Right. Now when you see Comments on the New York Post, the Far Right is trashing Fight Club as the bible of the Left.

Kinda fitting — if not ironic — that both the left and right project their own narratives onto a story centered around a character whose repressed thoughts and desires manifest into a radical split personality.
They're both right. Fight Club, like everything else, is a Rorschach test. What you see in it tells us about you. Both sides see their greatest bogeyman in it: their opposition. None of them see the rest of us, the actual disaffected.
