The weirdest thing that has ever happened in my house is I had a light switch that flipped off on its own. I was standing there within reaching distance of it, looking at my dog at the top of the stairs and waiting for her to come down. Then it just flipped off right in my vision while I was looking up at her. It wasn’t halfway down or anything like that. It flipped all the way from on to off. Also I double checked and there’s no way to get the switch to balance in the middle position between on and off. Still makes me scratch my head. Never had any bad feelings in my house or felt unwelcome though. Just a funny occurrence.
Many many moons ago, after reading Fight Club, I set about acquiring as much of your work as I could. I picked up Haunted first, in part because of that glowing cover. Loved it [of course]! 😁
Whenever I go into someone's house, I just love look at the bookcase it's one of the first thing I do if I see one. I mean when someone invites me, I didn't do it ...
P.S. Haunted is one of my favorites! I remember the night I discovered that book glowed in my military dorm, long ago. Something on my desk has a HAZMAT glow. What the heck!?! Oh it is just Haunted book. lol
When you signed my copy people finally stopped borrowing it forever. IT WORKED. I also just stopped lending out my books to people and send them their own copy now if they ask.
