The view from the kitchen yesterday evening…
That’s Crown Point on the southern bank of the Columbia River. Thanks to my bad focusing job it looks like a cross between Maxfield Parrish and and Bob Ross (the happy accident guy). The structure on the point is called Vista House. Directly below it (not visible here) stands a basalt monolith that Lewis and Clark named Cock Rock. It was later renamed Rooster Rock, for reasons.

A strange, sad note. The ghostwriter for "Three Cups of Tea" jumped from those cliffs once the book was revealed to be a hoax. His body lay on the talus slope below for three months before it was discovered.
