I'm glad we agree on this........I was pretty sure she was high in People vs. Larry Flynt the whole time cuz it felt too real. But I just love Woody so much I ignored her......
I loved Helena Bonham Carter as Marla and struggle to imagine the role in other way... however, I would love to see Winona Ryder play a heroine with an edge
Winona and Courtney are out as playing me. I still want Ed Norton to play me..........maybe older me lol........that new movie on Netflix I really wanted him to be the good guy for once........
He had me at Primal Fear - the ending
Then Lust came with Fight Club it's his voice
Then came undying discipleship with American History X - that body lol
It worked out well in the end. I'm finding it hard to Think about which other 90s actresses can convincely pull off that role. Maybe Eva Green? But she was not yet an actress. Or maybe Daniel Day Lewis, cause he's fucking dedicated to disappear completely.
After seeing Helena Bonham Carter as Marla, I could not imagine anyone else. But Winona Ryder would have been cool! Another one who I think could have been a pleasant surprise would be Gillian Anderson. Her work in recent years has been so diverse and excellent. But Courtney Love... Hard pass.
Go Figure she dated 2 of my lifelong loves.....
P.S. Never cared for her and I'm quite sure she would have ruined your film.
She'd already played that type in about six films.
Stupid me, I was lobbying for Winona Ryder. Seriously.

He was the good guy in Motherless Brooklyn!
The Incredible Hulk
A movie I haven't seen...... probably came out during a real rough patch in my life lol
And in between those came Rounders! Making a despicable character somewhat likeable. How did he do that?
I dunno but if he plays me he's gonna win every award there is. Including best kiss and best fight scene from MTV..........that's all I know .........
Hah! You just made me think of the Joe Rogan interview where you talked about how your dad was REALLY into Winona Ryder.
Yes, and my biggest fear at the time was him putting the moves on her.
That would have been terrible. I was hoping to rewatch Fight Club this week. And I'm on my annual read of the novel.
Ok, so can we talk about Moscow? I don't like saying Moscow bc of the war so I'd I say Idaho that's why.
The walls bled outside! I don't think will get solved unless whoever did it continues and gets sloppy.
In the era of ring doorbells and all this technology, this much time and absolutely nothing!!!!!
Better than Bundy! Bundy would be caught in this day and age and quick...........
this reminds me of the fan fiction alternate fight clubs ;) in my mind only.
out of respect. ;) and my own "# story telling under construction ". ;)
love u sharing this!
I think that photo was taken when Kurt was arrested for spray painting “God Is Gay”.
Like peeling the onion…

Winona would have been fabulous. Helen delivered though. It's my favorite role by far.
She took a tiny kernel of truth and shaped it to make two unrelated things link together.
My favorite Primus song, not coincidentally, features Tom Waits and is most likely about her. Coattails of a Dead Man. https://youtu.be/dxiLXiWRqQs
