The story depicts a terrified Irish valet (seated in the foreground looking dour) who’s given a speedy gender reassignment surgery aboard the Titanic so that said valet can escape aboard a lifeboat. The valet’s employer, a landed aristocrat, also marries this newly minted lady so that she might inherit all of his wealth as he himself is doomed to drown.
