Hey Chuck, I absolutely loved Collector's Item and how you started almost every sentence with "So" and how (at least to me) it made the story feel like it was moving so quick that I had to pay attention for fear of missing something. Read it a few times and keep running over the language in my mind.
I did! It's like when a toddler gets scared while playing and says "do it again!". That's how they were with the tape after the initial viewing. More fast forwarding and rewinding. I only hope I can write something a fraction as good as this someday.
Anyone else getting nervous about the ending of Greener Pastures with so few chapters left? My Sunday night anxiety is off the charts waiting for the Monday drop of the latest installment.
I tried to pace myself by only reading one chapter a month... needless-to-say I'm all caught up and I'm chomping (champing?) at the bit for the next installment.
Sweet! Twice a month starting this summer! I actually tried to anticipate the hindsight nights but miscalculated 😥. I'll be in Portland July 18 and miss both nights in July oof. But hopefully, in August I can plan another trip south.

Hey Chuck, just found out this substack is behind a paywall. That’s kinda gay. But I expected that so I shouldn’t complain. I found a new writer. This kid(he is like 25 or something) is literally a genius, the next big thing and I wanted to share some of his work with you. You are rich right? I heard you got into some trouble with a ‘globalist’ who othered you from your money. Lols. Im sure you could still get all his books in one go though.

Yeah they actually recorded an audiobook which turned out great. His It Is The Series books are collections of essays he wrote after he had a psychotic break and burned some place down lol. He is Schizo if you didn’t know. But they are really good and funny. He also wrote two novels (Rose, John). I haven’t read them yet but im sure they are good also.
