I published a street art book a decade ago and threw a book release party at a local bookstore in Wilmington, North Carolina. I offered free beer to get people to show up but nobody did. At least, I had 30 beers to keep me company.
I remember saying to my friend who was visiting in April that Spotted Dick must be the Twinkies of British snacks if you could be stocking up on it that early.
I'm sure we will both show up as our most amazing selves. Will you be the one to convince me to re-write a contemporary Flatlands? Asking for a friend.
See you on the east coast! I'm planning for both the NH reading and Boston signing but I moved out western MA so we'll see how I'm feeling after that first night's drive to and from 😅

I'm told the the microwave Spotted Dick I've sent out is terrible. It's made in New Zealand.
