Here are my favorite inscriptions for the second five contest photographs
Take note that my favorites tend to be inscriptions that allow some space for the eventual finder to make a connection. Or to decide a meaning. In most cases the reader will infer a meaning that’s far darker and more personal than anything the inventor could’ve implied/dictated. It’s that “participation” that completes the prank or stunt or artwork, whatever you want to call it.
As usual, if you’ve been chosen please contact Dennis at The Cult. Send him your snail mail address, and phone number if outside the United States. For Customs, you know.
As prizes you can choose either a hardcover of Not Forever, But for Now, or an oversized paperback of the graphic novel Fight Club 2. Please let me know how you’d like one or the other inscribed. To you? To a friend? As a holiday gift? A birthday?
Here goes.

The next five winners soon.
If you’re a night owl, I’ll be on Coast to Coast AM this coming Sunday night from ten until midnight. Yeah, I get the whole two-hour segment. It’s a dream come true when you consider that I’ve loved this show since its creation. The subject matter seems like the equivalent of bedtime stories for adults: cryptids, aliens, conspiracies, cults, serial killers. They ease us from reality into the land of dreams.
Congrats to all the wonderful winners. I always get a little jelly though. lol
This has been a great workout for my brain!
