I still wonder about the fat suit Meat Loaf wore in the role. David Fincher tried to give it to Planet Hollywood, but it was too saturated with sweat to display. Very pungent. Fincher tells a funny story about 20th Century Fox executive Laura Ziskin seeing the dailies of the film and shouting, “I did NOT approve those nipples!” It seems that large nipples on a man are forbidden. Sigh.
