What happens next won't be in words.

You are addicted to find yourself. how much you have been neglected yourself, how much cynicism and narcissism you have surrounded yourself with.

Tom said that he writes because he cannot cry and talk at the same time.

Well, actors can.

Not anymore.

just a few breaths and I will be there

just a few more moments and it will make sense.one thing that explains everything.

It is okay if there isn’t a god anymore, I still want to believe in something.

How it's always about a lonely person looking for a way to get connected to other people. well, he will choose every inauthentic way.

Not anymore.

I wish I can eat your cancer when you turn black

Cause the only way to find my true happiness is to risk being completely cut open.

My heart is broke.

I'l cry now.

Their names are Liam Shrem, Jonathan Seidman and Ilay Baram and they will be twenty seven, forever.

For the last week, three of my dearest friends have been slaughtered in an outdoor music festival by the Hamas massacre in Israel. More funerals to come.

My mother having the last days of her life. a daughter to a holocaust survivor. After 6 months of brain cancer, I'm glad she's heavily medicated that she is not aware of the Children women and holocaust survivor hostages.

Thank you for being part of my life chuck for the last 5 years since I held a horribly preserved fight club copy and taught myself English through your work, and it wasn't easy. Still not easy.

imagine asking a stranger what does it mean parenthood is the opiate of the masses.

He read from his new unpublished book The River is Waiting at Hartford Real Art Ways. It's very good and very dark.....and he's unbelievably kind. He was there early and mingling with fans. As if!

So happy for you, a wonderful experience.

I hadn't heard that he had a new book out. I'll have to add it to my list.

He's a great storyteller, a great writer.

Thanks:) It's not out yet. I don't know if you know but I sent him a video of me in the ocean (I attracted 2 humpback whales to me) and it won Chuck's Valentine contest and I said oh junk maybe Wally should see this because it happened only because I read his book way back She's Come Undone....he saw it and reached out on Facebook..... so I had to go meet him in person and I had so much fun! Im having a hard time telling people I have agoraphobia these days......I'm now only one degree from Oprah......

Ah, I'll have to be patient, then. How fun to have a sneak preview.

Yep, zero degrees of separation from Lamb, and one degree from Oprah. You're almost someone. 😁👏✨

Can't believe your fabulous effort to gain Lamb's attention. Five stars!

Such a beautiful theater. The movie theater in my hometown is going to be demolished and although not half as grand as this, it still has that old charm. My grandmother watched silent movies there as a kid with a piano player. Thank you for sharing this. It’s gorgeous.

The black cloth covered furnishings off to the left and right look like cloaked spectres at a distance.

Re: cloth-covered furnishings: I had the same jump-scare and had to zoom in. Still not entirely at ease.

Those are parts of the haunted house. Actors sits among dummies and create jump scares.

The 20th Century’s Cathedrals of Culture are the last social gathering spots of shared narrative experience. Shared energy in a positive psychic environment.

Soon to be a strange theme park to the future confused and programmed NPCs.

Plato’s Cave has been reduced to the Black Mirror where the shadows now flicker based on AI Algos.

The compartmentalization will continue until morale improves.

I loved Gattaca.

With the recent photo task and the notes - I’ve been trying to get any gaps I’m missing signed wise. One ended up being and inscribed one from the Haunted tour. It made me wonder about the person it was signed to originally - like the captions on the back of the photos would make people think. Who’s Charlie - did they sell their inscribed copy because they needed money, have they passed away, have they gone travelling and given up everything materialistic or full on Kindle/eReader life? And what will happen with my own inscribed ones when I’m not here…

I think I’ve seen this theater burnt down several times.

When you climb to the third balcony you see that the cherubs/putti up close. From the ground floor they look like tiny plump babies. Up close they are massive giant babies that would stand twelve feet tall if not seated. Monster babies are very unnerving up close.

Thank you for that bit of wisdom about the ruthless exclusion. I can kinda wrangle together a few ideas as to what to leave out: too much description, too much exposition, most adverbs, and so on. Now I just gotta figure out what exactly a story requires without taking out too much.

The vibe with the "folks" in the dark robes is very cool. Gothic Eyes Wide Shut.

Love the line, “theaters are so much like churches in how they exclude the real world in order to present another reality”

That is hands down the coolest thing yet. I’m in great admiration.

I love all old things, which is why I buy used books. The beat up parts of the book tell stories too. I love the idea that objects retain memory, hence haunted houses. The kind that murders happened in, not the commodified kind. Theaters contain so much memory. So many pieces of spirits. Its like a million pieces of art inside of a single space. A million stories. Went to Rocky Horror live last weekend in an old small town theater.

Wrote a liminal event, but its outdoors on sacred ground. Its the most absurd thing Ive conjured so far. Can't wait to share it with the world. I know its good because Sean got excited about it. His intuition and energy level regarding a story is a solid guage.
