I’m sorry if anyone found the book Heartburn offensive. And that the Charles Baxter story, Through the Safety Net, is difficult to find. I’d never suggest reading anything I didn’t think would demonstrate some important aspect of storytelling. I never meant any offense. For a while I’m going to avoid the Comments section. If you’ve got anything urgent, please contact me through Dennis, and I will respond when possible.
Again, it was never my intention to anger or upset you. All of the prizes for the Heartburn quiz have gone out.
