August 10th at The Cavern
One more Story Night for the road…
On August 10th a film crew will be in Portland to shoot an episode for a new Netflix series. The series is called Madness and Writers, and the first season will profile various “horror” writers, including me. Best of all, the show’s producers want to See You! To showcase local talent I’m hosting a Story Night at The Cavern, a wonderful bar with great food on SE Hawthorne. It will be kind of a private party for filming you, so just show up and we’ll make room. Bring your short fiction, and you might—might—get a shot at the streaming big time.
The Cavern has a great menu. Meet-up time is 8:00, and you’ll have to agree to being filmed. Them’s the rules. The producers will also be shooting at the launch of Not Forever, But for Now on September 5th at Revolution Hall in Portland, as well as in New York City at the Strand on September 11th for my tour appearance there.
