Thanks, Chuck and Team, for hosting this all those months. So sorry the Hindsight is closing. :( It was really special to attend your event there. If you want to resurrect this in the future at another location, I'm sure we'd all be okay with no videos. Just a "show up & read" kind of thing. Less work for all of you. Thanks for being such a welcoming community builder. I'm very grateful.
This was so cool. I’d love to some day participate or meet up with whoever for an event in Chuck’s neck of the woods someday. Can’t wait to see what’s next.
Lets crowd fund and buy a place for workshop and story night. Coffee/bar/place for writers to work by day, monkeypox transmission by night.
I mean stories. Stories and workshop at night. Monkeypox is the after party.
I partially stole this joke from Craig. But Im also serious. If only my city had enough writer weirdos to support such an endeavor. First real life workshop in my friend's record store April 13th. In case there are any new folks here in the Louisville K-Y area.
P.S. Gotta add though, wish there was something we could do.......it fucking sucks. COVID didn't kill the restaurant industry DoorDash and GrubHub did............
P.P.S. Not that crushed......Ive got Maegan and Kerri and Cheap n Crass and too many others to name because of Story Nights. I haven't been sad at all once today so I really want you to see all the good you've done for us........I see it. We all do love you and appreciate you. Even Deep who is an ass. He told me what he did and I chewed him out....I was prepared to defend him but he's on his own lmfao once I heard.
Well my next story I'm writing is about something I did to a favorite teacher that got me and my friends suspended. That teacher forgave me in the most gracious way and I carry that everyday. Her patience with me help me forgive people even to this day....but I never forget....
I hope his banishment has given Deep a chance to reflect on his words. He certainly knows why I think he's crossed a line......
Thank you for these, Chuck! Without story night I would have some of the best friends I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting and learned so much from all the talented writers. It has been life changing in the best way.
One day you’re going along, busy. Thinking you have all the time in the world. Then BAM it’s gone. Sorta like life. I’ve enjoyed the videos. Here’s hoping for a future rebirth.
So sad to hear it's closing. To everyone who read stories, you are incredible. Thank you for sharing. I will also miss seeing footage of Chuck at work.
:(
Damn.
Thank you for the opportunity, Chuck, Kerri, and Randy!
It was an absolute blast reading for the group. Thank you Mr. Palahniuk.
The ending here gives the experiment a kind of closure that I’d associate with finishing a collection of short stories. Quite the collection, too.

I'm glad to have been there for the last Hindsight Story Night in Portland.
These stories were something special. I hope this magic keeps going and going, someway somehow!
Thank you so much for everything.....I'm crushed but I'll live.

Was it about his ban? Yeah, Deep crossed a line with some of his comments toward/about Chuck.

Breaking news everybody, Chuck will give all the prize money to Karyn to keep her Taproom in business! Yay!
Kidding lol
I had a wonderful time with just an amazing group of people. Thank you all, especially Karyn, Chuck, and Chelsea.
Sorry to hear this. Seemed like a really special event. Hope everyone is able to get something else sorted, especially Karyn.
Thanks for all your efforts and sharing the videos.
